The Full Story
Shahin Yazdi is a Boston-based songwriter and producer with a chill pop/r&b sound, ear catching
sound choice, and an unpredictable writing style. Born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, but moving at 7 years
old to Spotsylvania, Virginia impacted his relationship with the world, and trying new things became
much easier. Being encouraged by his band teacher in the 5th grade, he picked up the tenor saxophone
and fell in love with jazz. While playing through middle school and high school, his friends he met after
joining choir in 10th grade had shown him the songs they had written. Starting to write songs and learning
to produce them at the same time really sparked his love for pop music.
After having his own artist career for some time, releasing 5 singles, one of which, “i want it” has
had playlisting success since its release in October of 2023. Now that his artist career is not the focus of
his work, he does a lot of co-writing work with artists, and writing collaborative works for pitching
purposes or for the purpose of a specific artist release. Some recent releases in 2024 include an EP titled
“LIKE CLOCKWORK” by Alankrita, and a single “ROOF” by Gracie Modean. Also achieving some
success in the Chinese music industry with 2 singles sold in 2024.

scholarship, the Solomon Munjack Endowed scholarship, and a general Berklee grant, that together paid
for his entire college education.
